April 2024 Newsletter
Dear Friends,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring weather. I love this time of year with the flowers in bloom and the cool mornings.
There are a couple of items I want to address so that we can take the best care of you. We see a lot of people that have an upcoming appointment scheduled (usually a cleaning) and they have an additional concern regarding their teeth or mouth. We are not made aware of the concern until the patient arrives at the office and tells one of our team members. This can be challenging to add an additional service to address or fix the issue on the fly.
It is much more likely that we can make time to address the concern if we know about it in advance. If you have a concern (BIG or small) and you would like us to assess the concern at your upcoming appointment, PLEASE call or email us in advance so that we can alert the team and add any additional time that might be necessary to address it. It is our goal to address your concerns as timely as possible and ensure you are not living with pain or problems.
I know many of you have met Dr. Hernandez since she has been here two years now. She is a superb clinician and has a great bedside manner. There are days where I am out of the office or I am working on large cases and cannot break away to do all of the exams or see emergencies. On these days, Dr. Hernandez is helping with the exams and any emergencies. I want to ensure you that if she discusses treatment with you (that I have previously diagnosed or new treatment that she diagnoses) that you will not hurt my feelings if you see her to complete the treatment. I trust her implicitly to deliver excellent care to you and I am grateful that she is here to help see patients in a timely manner. My schedule is usually booked farther out and you will usually be able to get in to sooner on her schedule.
Best Regards,
Dr. Steve
